the california penal code
The midterm assignment for my digital media 1 class at SFSU was to take a set of randomly assigned photos and create an interactive presentation with a coherent theme. The photos were taken by myself and my classmates; after printing them, they were collected, shuffled, and distributed evenly amongst us. For a theme, I decided to use the California Penal Code. There were a number of reasons for choosing this theme, not the least of which was that I couldn't get over how funny "penal code" sounds.
The soundtrack was created using Apple's GarageBand application, and the text content comes directly from the California Penal Code, applied as appropriate to my assigned photographs.
