Common Names: Jambolan Plum, Java Plum

This medium-to-large evergreen tree from Southeast Asia has glossy green leaves and white flowers. The 1/2-3/4" long, purple fruit is astringent until ripe. It is used in jelly, juice and wine. Propagated by seed or grafting.
